    The diagram above shows the percentage inhibition of 80% methanol leaf
    extract of Leonitis ocymifolia on acetic acid induced writhing model in mice. The 80%
    methanol leaf extract of Leonitis ocymifolia have a significant effect, which are can be
    shown at dose 100, 200, and 400 mg/kg the inhibition were around 30%, 45% and 60%.
    Compared to the lower dose, the 400 mg/kg dose showed the highest analgesic effect
    against acetic acid induced writhing response in mice.
