 Statistical Interpretation of Data


Survey and interview questions have been distributed to different
hardwares that are located in our target areas which is in Binan, Santa
Rosa, and Carmona. The following pie charts are the results of every
question in the survey.

1. Are you satisfied in the quality of plywood you sell for formworks?

From the data above, 60% said that they are satisfied on the quality of plywood they sell
for formworks. On the other hand, 40% said they are not satisfied because they are
looking for other types of plywood and much better look of plywood.

2. What is the thickness of plywood that your costumer usually buy?

From what we seen from the data above, 90% of the hardwares are selling the sizes
¼” , ½” , and 3/4” while the other 10% are those hardwares who are selling just one
or two of those three given sizes above.

3. What type of plywood are customers usually buying?

On the data above, we can see that 70% of the hardwares are selling only Marine
Plywood and Phenolic board while on the other hand, 30% of this hardwares are
selling Ordinary Plywood and Marine plywood only and there are no hardware who
are selling just Ordinary plywood and Phenolic Board.

4. What is the average cost of the plywood that your costumers buy?

On what we’ve seen in the data above, 70% of the hardwares are selling P 1,000.00
above plywoods also there is 20% hardwares that are selling plywood on the price
range of P 800-900 pesos & P 1,000.00 above and on the last one, the price range is
about P800-900 pesos, P900-1000 pesos and P1,000.00 above price of plywood.

5. What is the average volume of purchase from suppliers?

On the data above we can see that 60% of the hardwares are purchasing 1-200 pcs of
plywood in their respective suppliers. On the other hand, 40% of the hardwares are
purchasing 201-400 pcs of plywood.

6. What is your average sell per month?

On the data above we can see that 60% of the hardwares are selling 1-200 pcs of
plywood which we can say a decent number of pieces being sold monthly. On the
other hand, 40% of the hardwares are selling 201-400 pcs of plywood which we can
say high and can assume that their hardware are well known or has many loyal
customers.

7. What is the frequency of your purchase?

We can see in the chart above that all of the hardwares are getting all of their supplies
which is the plywood on a monthly basis. We can say that monthly, they are selling
all of the supplies they get in their suppliers so they are purchasing again on the next
month.

8. If there is a cheaper product but with the same or higher quality, are you willing to
sell this product?

Figure 8.0 showing those who are willing to switch to a plastic formwork if it is more
economical and has a higher quality

95% of the hardwares are willing to switch to other kind of product but with a
cheaper price and has a higher quality and on the other hand there is just 5% of
hardwares who are not willing to switch maybe because of their loyalty of their
suppliers or other reasons.
