TERMS AND CONDITION:
A. Hyatt Fire and Life Safety Plan Review
JENSEN HUGHES will review the design documents (fire and life safety prepared by the Local Design Team )against the
Hyatt GTS and referenced standards. The following services will be provided:
Fire Life Safety Services :
1. Design Brief
2. Means of Egress/Fire Rated Construction
3. Fire Alarm (including review of cause and effect matrix)
4. Sprinkler
5. Smoke Control
6. Emergency Lighting/Exit Signage
2. Hyatt FLS Inspection Services
A. FLS Inspection Services (Pre-Test): At the Construction Phase, one (1) site visit will be conducted
by one (1) FLS engineer to inspect the facility to ensure the FLS design is processing as
documented in design documents and to verify that all required FLS systems are being installed
and level of completeness (no performance testing will be conducted on this stage). Completed
full set of most recent Architect, Fire Alarm Systems with battery and voltage drop calculation,
Automatic Sprinkler and Standpipe with hydraulic calculation, Emergency Lighting and Exit Signs,
Smoke Control with fan capacity calculation, Kitchen Hood Suppression System plans in English
shall be submitted on site for review to ensure the design and installation are compliant. A detailed
written report will be submitted to the project team within 10 working days after the site survey, in
which recommendations on defects/outstanding work rectification will be suggested
B. FLS Final Inspection Services: Upon direction from the Client's project team, conduct one (1) site
visit by a FLS engineer to verify that the status of the fire protection and life safety systems,
operated by the contractor under simulated emergency conditions, and witness compliance with
Hyatt GTS and referenced standards. The final inspection will include a back check of the open
items from the pre-test site visit and any systems that were not ready fo sting during the? pretest.
C. The detailed site visit scope consists of the following:

4- Standpipe System
5-Egress and Life Safety

8- The report will include a review letter for each FLS system and accompanying against Hyatt GTS and referenced
Standards
C- Plan Review Re-submittal. Conduct a secondary plan review of the revised design documents pertaining to fire and life
safety systems. Follow up review to the original design set pertaining to fire and life safety systems after the issuance of the
initial recommendations report will be included based on the initial recommendations
PAYMENT TERMS :
) 25% Advance pay'!le~t upon acceptance of purchase order by the supplier.
2 ) 45% progressive payriient as per executed quantity confirmed by Project Manager.
3 ) 30% will be paid after preparing the report, finalizing the discussions with RTCC about the alternative technical
solutions of site protection, any relevant modifications and obtaining approval from RTCC to submit the report to
Saudi Geological Surve
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Work outside of the Scope specified in this proposal will be conducted on a mutually agreed upon basis.
When such work is requested, JENSEN HUGHES will submit an estimate of the cost to the Client for
approval prior to commencing work.
Additional work may include, but is not limited to:
1. Meetings and surveys in addition to those specified above.
2. Preparation of formal variances and attendance at variance hearings.
3. Design of FLS systems not listed in the Scope of Services.
4. Additional consulting services beyond those described in the Scope of Services.
5. Reproduction of design documents more than that identified in the Scope of Services.
6. General consulting hour more than that identified in the Scope of Services.
7. Facade assessment or evaluation
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
This proposal is based upon the Client performing the following activities:
1. Provide JENSEN HUGHES with copies of all available drawings including architectural,
mechanical, electrical, and drawings of the existing fire suppression system for the building.
2. Provide access to all areas of the building during surveys and site inspections

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A. Contract Sum USD 32,965. Twenty-Five (25) percent(%) down payment of the total contract sum,

shall be made within thirty (30) days after the client's approval of this contract. This down payment
should exclude any taxes as required by the local government per the project's geographic location.
Forty-five (45) percent(%) second payment of the total contract sum shall be made after the 2nd
submission of FLS plan reviews. Thirty (30) percent (%) final payment of the total contract sum, shall

All fees and expenses must be paid together with the 5% withholding (WHT) that is applicable in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
