Introduction

The following work was carried out in order to write, understand and interpret a letter in
English describing their occupation, using the topics studied in units 1 and 2, inquiring
into educational resources and obtaining the relevant information for the development of
unit 1

What do you study?

I am currently studying industrial engineering, in the third period

Where do you study?

I study in the Amazonia Orinoquia Zone, in the CEAD Acacias, belonging to the school
of basic sciences, technology and engineering

What is your favorite subject?

I really like research subjects and those related to integral management

What are your responsibilities at university?

My responsibility is to be the actor of my learning, recognizing the support material they
provide me, establishing the study strategies, methods, techniques and tools that favor
me and being part of the collaborative learning groups when it is established...

What was your first day at university like?

On my first day of induction at the CEAD, I was intimidated at first because I knew
nothing, or anyone; then I realized the importance of integrating and participating; finally
everything ended well

¿Do you get along with your classmates?  

Yeah, I like it when it comes to teamwork and we all make contributions

What are you studying?
At the moment I study industrial engineering, I am in the third semester with room matte
rs.
 
Where do you study?
Study at the CEAD of Acacias-Meta in the school of basic sciences technology and engi
neering.

What's your favorite theme?
What strikes me most is the math and the planning and organization of projects. 

What are your responsibilities in college?
To be an autonomous person who studies and develops my activities thoroughly and on 
his own initiative, fulfilling the established times and thematics.

How was your first day in college?
My first day of college was full of expectations, I didn't know much about the career and 
I didn't know anyone, but i gradually adapted.

Do you get along with your classmates?
Yes, we have a good coexistence and we help each other to bring forward the issues w
here some of us have difficulties.

What's your job?

I am an employee of the Halliburton company, my position corresponds to assistant
field operator.

Where do you work?

The Halliburton company is located at Km 14 via López port

What responsibilities do you have at work?

My responsibility as an employee is to ensure the safety of my colleagues and teams
which are what the day-to-day work provides us.

Do you like your job? But because?

Yes, because as a result of my work and acquired experience, knowledge, being a
courtesan, kind and especially in being a great support for my family.

How was your first day at work?

It was a little awkward day because you are new to people and they look at you weird,
but they were all respectful people and supported me from that moment that I was part
of the Halliburton team.

Do you get along with your colleagues?

Super well we all support each other unconditionally, sharing the achievements of each
one.

What is your job?

The work I do is  water injection operator

 
Where do you work?

I work at ecopetrol station that is located in Castilla la Nueva

 
What responsibilities do you have at work?

I am the person responsible for the station being in operation 24 hours a day
 
Do you like your job? Yes, No. Why?
 
Yes, because it helps the economic of the region and the country
 
What was your first day at work like?

It was a very nice day since the people who received me made me feel very good
 
Do you get on well with your colleagues?

Of course, working as a team with my colleagues is essential in this position

My occupation as a worker is that of an operator of a water injection plant in Castilla, I
am in charge of keeping the station 24 hours in line, attending to any requirement that is
presented in my turn as equipment maintenance, speed adjustments and loading of
equipment, opening and closing of valves and always trying to assure the staff and the
environment.

Related to the topic we are working on, if necessary or if the opportunity arises, I would
like to work leading groups of people either in work related to sustainable development
(environment, social and economic) or in the creation and design of products or
services, because I think that from others I can learn a lot and I can also share my
knowledge and it is a nice way to leave a mark wherever I am.
I will be attentive to your recommendations to improve my paragraph
