TRUJILLO

The city of Trujillo is the Capital of the departament of La Libertad , Called

“The city of the everlasting spring”,located north of Lima , is considered the
"Capital of the Marinera".

It has only two typical Dances;La Marinera , The word comes from Sea Sailor
expresses the movements of dress and ballerina performing body, like the
waves of the sea. Also We dance el Caballo de Paso, It is considered unique in
its kind peculiar anatomical conformation and external forms. This copy it
considered "National Heritage" and is a silent ambassador.

This city has a sunny climate. Its climate

is warm during the day and mild during the night.
Its gastronomy has a tasty and varied variety of dishes, in some cases ancient
tradition, are prepared on the basis of fish and birds.The names of the
typicol dishes are Ceviche , Shambar and its drinks are Chicha of Moche and
soda Cassinelli .
Currently Trujillo , between attractions offered us visit is Chan Chan ,the
beach of Huanchaco, the museum of the dolls and the plaza de armas of
center of Trujillo.
