Question: Will a paper airplane fly better the one with a flat nose or a pointy nose?

Research:

Both can fly but one will be able to fly further.

One of the plane’s nose is flat the other is pointy

Thrust is the forward movement of the plane. ... After this, paper airplanes are really gliders,
converting altitude to forward motion. Lift comes when the air below the airplane wing is
pushing up harder than the air above it is pushing down. It is this difference in pressure that
enables the plane to fly.

What Makes Paper Airplanes Fly? | Scholastic

Hypothesis: I think the pointy nose airplane will fly further because it is the standard plane/glider

Experiment steps:

1. Fold the basic dart

2. Fold the liftoff
3. Fly the basic dart
4. Fly the liftoff
5. Record which one flew further

Results
Conclusion:

Now I know that my prediction was mostly correct. I learned that the shape of the nose matters
on a paper airplane.
