space. 
2. If you are done with your first answers, you should use the
links at the bottom of the page to see if you can figure out the
actual answers. Don't write anything but you can take notes on
a separate word document. 
3. Today some of you will begin the process of putting the
answers to your questions in blue

Questions

1. There is a disagreement with two students on how many planets are in the solar
system. Student A claims there are 8 planets and Student B claims there are 12
planets. What is some evidence to support each claim?
1. Answer: I know that student A is thinking about the 8 main planets and
student B is thinking about the dwarf planets as well but I’m not so sure
about why student B is thinking about 4 dwarf planets instead of 5.
2. Answer Student A is correct because there are 8 main planets and student B is
correct because there is dwarf planets

1. Answer: I know it’s Mercury but I don’t know why.

4. How does the mass of our planet compare to the other inner planets? 
1. Answer: I know earth has the most mass compared to the other inner planets
2. answer I first I knew that earth is has he most mass but I now know that
mars has the second largest mass
5. Dr. Grumbles claims that it is colder during the winter because Earth is farther
from the sun. Provide evidence to prove him right or wrong?
1. Answer: now I know that seasons are not affected by distance from the sun it
is affected by tilt
6. How does the path of the sun in the sky change during seasons? 
1. Answer: now I know that the summer has a longer path so there are more daylight
hours
7. How would seasons on Uranus be different from Earth? 
1. Answer: now iknow the seasons on Uranus are really extreme
