in the municipality of fomeque the celebration of San Isidro is held to
honor the peasants.
San Isidro Labrador, also known as San Isidro the Farmer, was a very
devoted Spanish lay farmer who was well known for his piety towards
the poor and animals
where each village sidewalk, decorating floats honoring the countryside,
is contest style and wins the most decorated, the Holy Mass is also
performed.
For this reason I invite you to visit and know this celebration where you
can find diversity of the field or the food that is grown there
