About Me I am a Class of 2023 student at Arizona State University’s Walter
Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a focus on
fashion and music reporting. I am also a student-athlete on ASU’s Sand
Volleyball team. I wish to pursue a career in the fashion industry as a
writer or in the communications department of a fashion magazine.

At Paul Mitchell the School San Diego, I mainly took care of making
reservations, selling products, assisting clients, and taking inventory.

Paul Mitchell the School San Diego/Financial Aid

Assistant in the Financial Aid section of Paul Mitchell the School San
Diego. My tasks included providing students with baseline Financial Aid
information and setting up appointments for payment.

Paul Mitchell the School San Diego/Admissions

My role in admissions at Paul Mitchell the School San Diego mainly
consisted of scheduling appointments for tours of potential students, and
giving visitors and student prospects tours of PMTSSD.

Receptionist
At Walk In, I had similar roles to those as a reservationist at Paul Mitchell
the School San Diego, however, Walk In Salon only houses professional
hairdressers and not students. Here, I mainly took care of scheduling
appointments and inventory.

La Jolla Hi-Tide/Staff Writer

Staff writer for high school’s newspaper. During this time, I pitched and
wrote my own articles for each section of our newspaper, and
occasionally wrote cover stories.

Page editor for high school newspaper’s Arts & Entertainment page.
Approved and edited stories of staff writers, and produced stories of my
own. Experience with InDesign.

Editor in Chief of my high school’s school newspaper. Oversaw each
page, helped generate new content, held frequent meetings with page
editors and school staff, and operated budgeting, printing, etc…

Treasurer of La Jolla High School Black Student Union. Managed club
funds and kept track of meeting attendance.

President of La Jolla High School Black Student Union. Organized
meetings, events, trips, etc. Worked with students and staff, and
collaborated with other clubs.

San Diego Union Tribune/ Intern

Intern for San Diego Union Tribune’s high school summer intern program.
Worked alongside editors and writers, attended morning meetings, news
conferences, and more.

Adobe Experience
Experience through JMC 305 course at the Cronkite School.
I have developed a good understanding of various Adobe programs
including InDesign, Photoshop, Premier, Audition and After Effects.
