Problem Statement: To study the recent advances in pharmaceutical and chemical industries
Deliverables: Detailed report on the recent developments in said industries

 Development of a new methodology for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) by integrating

comprehensive fuzzy logic. (DP)
Problem Statement: A critical analysis on the existing EIA methods and to propose the modified
methodology integrating fuzzy logic

 Development of novel ‘‘metal-free’’ oxygen functionalized carbon materials as effective catalysts

for wastewater treatment (LoP)
Problem Statement: In this study different commercial carbon black will be treated with individual or
combination of the oxidizing techniques to enhance the surface activities of the commercial carbon
black
