GUIDELINES AND RULES FOR SUBMISSION OF ESSAY COMPETITION

1. Undergraduate, Graduate students and teachers of all discipline are invited to participate in the essay
competition.
2. One Essay per participant may be submitted. Multiple or incomplete submissions will lead to disqualification.
3. Essay should not exceed 1000 words and must be written in English. Cover page must contain the Title of the
essay, Author/Writer Name, Affiliation, Contact Number and Email id.
4. Essay should be typed in Font Style- Times New Roman, Font Size-12, Line & Paragraph Spacing -1/1.5.
5. Only original Essays will be considered for the competition. No part of it should have been published earlier
nor should it be under consideration of publication or a contest elsewhere. Any form of plagiarism will result in
disqualification of the Essay.
6. The participants will submit a separate undertaking with regard to originality of work. Identification mark must
not be found in any part of the Essay.
7. A team of judges, including department heads and teachers will determine the best essay.

Important Note:
A certificate of appreciation will be awarded to all the winners.
The top 10 essays will be published along with a photograph of the participant in departmental magazine.
