DO PEOPLE SPEND TOO MUCH TIME ONLINE THESE DAYS?

The Internet originated in the sixties, but was accessible to the majority of the
population in the nineties. These days, it is an almost indispensable resource for
millions of people and a number of businesses and economic activities.

A study says Americans spend almost 24 hours each week online. I think this is because
the internet is used for communication, platforms for media and entertainment,
marketing, e-commerce, social networks, etc.

Unfortunately, this is very difficult to change since the technology industry grows more
and more. For example, mobile devices accounted for 49.74 percent of visits to web
pages worldwide.

To sum up, I believe that technology is growing more and more and this makes the use
of the internet also grow. Unfortunately, this is dificult to change.
