BCOM Nairobi Module II (day & evening)

Term Project for Jan-April 2020


To be carried out in groups of 5. Research and prepare a 12-15 slide PPT presentation on any of
the topics below. They must present in class for 15 mins, Class presentations will start on 7th for
Day and evening 9th April 2019. The term paper will constitute 15% of your coursework.

Required:
 Identify an organization of your choice. Briefly discuss the organization’s nature of
business and the primary products.
 Discuss the Quality management tool assigned to your group. In your discussion include
 The origin of the tool
 Components of the tool
 Benefits of the tool in general and specifically to your organization
 Disadvantages of the tool
 How the organization will use the tool to improve its quality levels
 The issues the organization should consider while implementing the tool.

When preparing, read the sources and type out the presentation in your own words. Use
diagrams to minimize text, all text should be large enough for a presentation. Don’t copy-paste
material from places and call it a presentation. Doing this is plagiarism and will disqualify you.
Other information and Submission
Your group should have a name. Non-original work will count as plagiarism and will
automatically be disqualified. Be brief and concise, maximum length of 10 pages for the word
document using 1.5 spacing and 12pt Times New Roman font. You will submit one hard copy
during the last class.
All member’s names and reg. numbers should be typed on the cover page in ascending order, and
each member should sign the hard copy submitted. A checklist on the cover page will ensure you
have done everything in both assignments.
