FM-1000 and FM-750 Displays – Serial Communication for Automatic

Rate and Section Control

We are please to announce that another variable rate application (VRA) protocol has been
added to the existing options already available.
The new protocol is available on FM-750 and FM-1000 only and is called Trimble Universal
Variable Rate (TUVR) this has the benefit that it can communicate both automatic rate and
section control via a serial communication (unlike other protocols that communicate automatic
rate control only).

The FM-1000 integrated display and FM-750 displays now communicate with the following
rate controllers:

Rauch/Kuhn – Quantron A
Rauch/Kuhn – Quantron E2
Hardi/Evrard – Regulor 6

How to unlock the TUVR functionality:

The same process is when wanting to upgrade to one of the existing serial protocols, TUVR
protocol becomes available by purchase one of the following VRA unlock codes:
Display VR unlock code
FM-1000 integrated display P/N ZTN69540
FM-750 display P/N ZTN81515
Once unlocked, you can activate the TUVR protocol selecting TRIMBLE from the list of
variable rate controllers.
