Live With Safety

Before returning machine to customer, make sure

machine is functioning properly, especially the safety
systems. Install all guards and shields.

Park Machine Safely

Before working on the machine:

• Lower all equipment to the ground.

• Stop the engine and remove the key.
• Disconnect the battery ground strap.

• Hang a "DO NOT OPERATE" tag in operator station.

Rotary Ejector Air Pre-Cleaner Installation

1. Raise loader and install boom lock.

2. Stop engine.

IMPORTANT: Template must be printed as 100% full
size, not fit to page. Verify scale on
each template sheet before proceeding.

3. Remove templates from instructions.

4. On template sheet (1 of 3) remove exhaust pipe cutout

(4), and dotted line area. 1—Front of Machine Hood
2—Aligning Arrows (8 used)
3—Rear Edge of Machine Hood
5. On template sheet (2 of 3) remove dotted line area. 4—Exhaust Pipe Cut Out

6. On template sheet (3 of 3) remove dotted line area and

cut out box following solid black lines.

7. Locate template on hood aligning template arrows (2).

Tape templates together.

8. Align template at rear surface of hood (3) and at

exhaust pipe cut out (4) as shown.

9. Tape template in place.

10. Put tape on hood to avoid scratching hood when

cutting hole.

CAUTION: Cover engine compartment under

hood before cutting hole to prevent particle
contamination.

11. Cut hole in hood.

12. Sand off any rough edges to avoid hood cracking.

13. Use punch and flatten tabs (2).

14. Install tube (1) into hood opening. Rotate until parallel
with top of hood.

15. Mark holes (2) in the bottom of air duct for the two
cap screws.

16. Drill holes using an 8 mm drill bit.

17. Countersink hole in steel ring from bottom side. Make

countersink depth so that 21M7351 cap screw head is

flush with metal ring on hood.

18. Remove and discard screen from bottom of

pre-cleaner.

19. Install seal (2) around bottom edge of pre-cleaner (3).

NOTE: 410G does not require rubber adapter (7). Install

tube and clamp to pre-cleaner.

20. Install tube (4), clamp (5) and rubber adapter (7) into
bottom of pre-cleaner (3). Orient opening on top of

pre-cleaner (6) 180 degrees away from flange (1) on
tube.

21. Install tube and pre-cleaner into hole in hood. Install 1—Flange
cap screws to pre-cleaner tube flange (1). 2—AH140044 Seal
3—AT220930 Pre-Cleaner
4—AT191266 Pre-Cleaner Tube
22. Press down on pre-cleaner so that seal (2) is tight 5—Hose Clamp
against hood to set depth of the pre-cleaner (3) on 6—Pre-Cleaner Outlet Hole
tube (4). 7—TY24867 Adapter Kit

23. Remove cap screws and remove pre-cleaner

assembly.

24. Tighten clamp (5) on pre-cleaner.

25. Install pre-cleaner assembly into hood.

26. Install 21M7351 cap screws (1) into tube.

NOTE: Insure that cap screws (1) are flush with metal
ring.

27. Apply a thick layer of TY24344 Clear RTV silicon (2)

around inside of tube (3) to seal tube to air duct and
fill heads of cap screws so they are flush with metal

28. Remove and discard unloader valve from air cleaner.

29. Install cap (1) and secure with hose clamp (2).
