This was held at a facility called CPR2U and lasted for 4 hours.

Discuss the value of this experience to you (be specific).

This taught me basic life support skills to implement into situations when necessary in all aspects
of my life, not just in the hospital. These skills include chest compressions, bag masking,
infant/child CPR, defibrillation, etc.

How would you continue to use this experience throughout your nursing career?

I could continue this by implemented these skills I’ve learned in the hospital if a situation arises
where it is necessary such as cardiac or respiratory arrest.

Would you recommend this specific communnity/professional experience in the future; why or
why not? (Describe)

Yes I would, I believe being BLS certified is a helpful certification to have no matter your
profession because you never know when a situation may arise where those skills could save a
life.

validation of clinical hours form obtained? no
