Won’t Upshift Past 1:1
This can be caused by indexing the ratio control arm on the valve body incorrectly when placed onto
the transmission case.

First make sure the ratio control arm is set in the correct position before trying to index it during
assembly (figures 1 & 2).

There’s is a 1/8” hole straight through the valve body for which to put a rod to hold the lever in
position during assembly (figure 3).

Use a punch or equivalent to hold the control arm in place (figure 4). This will align the control arm
opening with the ratio control rod in the case during assembly (figure 5).
