I am interested in applying for a middle school math and science teacher position in your school
district. As a 2022 graduate of Arizona State University, I have student teaching experience in
sixth- seventh-, and eighth-grade level math and science. I believe my experience and passion for
helping others makes me an ideal candidate for a teaching position at your school.

I have experience teaching middle school students who come from different ethnic backgrounds. I
am currently in my last year as a student at ASU and I’m finishing up my student-teaching as well.
As a student myself, I know the expectations students have of teachers and as an educator this
provides with insight of the needs of my students.

Your school emphasizes its unique academic curriculum of humanities, mathematics, science, and
foreign language. My experience ranges from volunteering in the community and incorporating
engaging activities in the classroom. For instance, as a student teacher, I led a group of students to
a math championship in 2021.
