Slide your finger down the slide, following the arrow, as you prolong /s/
(“ssssssssssssssssss”)

2. Next, combine with vowels shown below:


Example: /sssssss/ (pause) A
/sssssss/ (pause) E
etc.

3. Then combine with vowels first:


Example:A.....(pause).... /sssssss/
E......(pause) ..... /sssssss/
etc.

4. Then blend the sounds together shortening the /s/:


a) say, see, sigh, so, sue, soy, sow, suh
b) ace, ees, ice, ose, oose, oyce, ows, us

5. You can try combining random combinations of two (or three) /s/ + vowel combinations
(If you like, you can call this “martian talk”). For example:
a) say-see, sigh-soy, sue-so, suh-see, sow-sigh
b) soy-suh-say, sigh-see-sue; so-sow-say

6. You can try combining random combinations of two (or three ) + vowel + /s/
combinations. For example:
a) ace-ees, ice-ose, oose-oyce, ows-us, ees-oyce, us-ace, ice-ows
b) oose-oyce-us, ows-ace-ees, ice-ees-oose, ace-ose-ows
