    Quantity of domestic refuse 500 gm/capita/day

    Assuming that a family residing per flat 5 members

    Total refuse generated / day (includes 30 additional


    persons for maintenance ) 1675 KG/Day

    Total Wet Garbage Provided @ 40% 670 KG/Day

    Total Dry Garbage Provided @ 60% 1005 KG/Day

    Density of refuse 240 kg/cum.

    To avoid irregularity in municipal cleaning/Machine


    breakdown/Irregularities the collection room is
    designed to accommodate 2 days refuse.

    Period of cleaning of refuge as per BMC 2 days
