Greetings in the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood!!!
The Beta Phi Upsilon Fraternity and Lambda Phi Delta Sorority Upsilon (Cebu) Chapter is pleased
to invite you to its 11th National Convention and General Assembly with a theme: “Strengthening
Solidarity, Weaving the Future.” that will be held on April 17 - 19, 2020 at the DEPED Ecotech
Center, Sudlon, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
This National Convention is a gathering of our brothers and sisters as we strengthen camaraderie
and friendship amongst our beloved members. This is also an avenue to rekindle, reconnect, and
socialize with our fellow Upsilonians and Deltans to further institute a more productive,
progressive and stronger organization that will inspire the society and its future generations.
The Convention is open to all Upsilonians-Deltans from all over the world. For inquiries, please

Needless to say, Cebu is the oldest city and the second most progressive metropolis in the country
thus this event promises to be a memorable undertaking for all its participants coming from
different regions of the Archipelago.

II. REGISTRATION DETAILS
Packages
Based on previous agreement with all chapters and to cover other incidental expenses, we
implement this registration scheme:
Chapter Pledge Good for Inclusion

P10,000 (compulsory) or Maximum of four (4) • Participant’s kit
P20,000 (optional) persons if 10kphp or • Food/pax (2breakfast,
Maximum of eight (8) 2snacks, 1lunch, 2dinner)
persons if 20kphp • With lodging (dormitory
only)
• Passes to social events
The 10kphp is the compulsory-per-chapter-pledge for a max. of four (4) persons included for free
(dormitory and standard meal only). Any excess will be charged accordingly. The National ID &
Membership Certificate are not covered in this pledge.
Registration Good for Inclusion

This is the individual registration for attending members excluding those members covered by the
Chapter pledge. The National ID & Membership Certificate are not covered in this registration fee.

Out of town members are encouraged to send their booking reservations for the Ecotech Center
to the organizers (Upsilon Chapter) on or before February 15, 2020 to ensure reservation. Later
than that, will have no guarantee of room accommodation at the Deped Ecotech Center.
On the other hand, members are also allowed to book their own accommodation outside of the
Ecotech Center, if they chose to. Such arrangement will be beyond the scope of the organizers.
Process
Step 1: Notify your Chapter President of your intention to participate in the 54th National
Convention in order for you to be included in the Chapter Registration form, or you can directly
send out your interest to the organizers.
Step 2: Pay the registration fee and / or accommodation fee to these bank accounts:

Step 3: Please send text to Brod Zaide Zafra at 09285596819. No need to call as text is preferred
since it will serve as documentation or money trail.
Step 4: Brod Zaide to send text reply for the confirmation receipt of the transferred amount.

Step 5: Send completed registration form and a scanned copy or picture of the deposit slip or
the sender’s form to the following email: zaidevic@gmail.com or FB Account: Zaide Zafra.
Please take note:
No deposit slip or sender’s form, no confirmation of registration.
Deadline for submission of registration form and payment of registration fee:
February 29, 2020.
Other important reminders:

• Any registration and payments made after the deadline no longer has the assurance of
accommodation at the venue due to advance bookings from other organizations.
• A no-refund policy is enforced to ensure the financial security of the committee with its
intention to provide and organize a memorable, productive and fun convention for
everyone.
• Transportation from port to venue and vice versa is not included in the registration fee.
• Tour is optional and is also not included in the registration fee.
• Please advise as early as possible if you are bringing companion/s who are non-
members so accommodation and food can be adjusted and corresponding fees can be
noted accordingly.
• All participants must adhere to the attached house rules to ensure a smooth and hassle-
free convention.

IV. CEBU TOUR DESTINATIONS – interested members must

inform the organizers at least one (1) week ahead of the NatCon in
order to facilitate the transportation. The organizers will handle the
transpo reservation but the interested members shall have to
shoulder the transportation expense.

VI. NATIONAL ID and MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE –

in order to avail of the ID & Certificate, members must submit the
complete Member Information Sheet, softcopy of clear colored
photo (white background) with name and signature (do not mix
name and signature), plus 500php/member for the lifetime
membership fee and 200php/member for the ID & Certificate.
Deadline for the submission of these requirement is on February 29,
2020.
Submissions later than the deadline will have no guarantee of its
release during this year’s National Convention.
