APPLICATION CABLE STANDARDS

Medium voltage cables for distribution networks; also for DIN VDE 0276-620, HD 620 S2, DIN EN 60228,
connection to generation units and plant and process connection. BS EN/IEC 60332-1-2, BS EN/IEC 60502
To be laid directly in ground, outdoors, indoors and in cable ducts
e.g. in industrial and switchboard plants.

The electrical and dimensional properties of this product are measured by the

CONSTRUCTION Technical and Quality Assurance department at the Eland Cables laboratory. Cable
performance in respect of conductor resistance, construction quality (workmanship),
Conductor dimensional consistency, and other parameters are verified to published standards
Stranded copper conductor and approved product drawings. Conformance to RoHS (Restriction of the use of
Hazardous Substances) is determined and confirmed.
