CPC – 1841

Part of the class evaluation will correspond to a semester case study project which has to be
delivered electronically on each one of the designated dates according to the 2020-1 academic
calendar.
In the final term it will also include an oral presentation of the results.

The case study will correspond to a complete supply value analysis of an organization (the
company you’re working for or any other company or organization that you can fully understand
how it works and how it’s value chain and supply chain operate).
This will be a project to be developed individually and the document must be in English, however,
the final oral presentation will be language optional. If performed in English, it will be valuated as
a plus.

1. Deliverable 2

Due date: Monday, May 4th, 2020

1.1. Inventory
Identify your critical inventory items through an ABC Analysis. (Consider just finished
goods or supplies depending of the nature of your business)
Note: as per information access limitation, you can use non-real values for money value
as well as quantities.

1.2. Procurement
 Consider how purchasing is performed at your company. Describe if some supplier
selection and evaluation is considered. Remember you can evaluate your suppliers by one
or several of the following variables:
Cost, Quality & Safety, On Time Delivery, Service, Risk, Social Responsibility,
Convenience/Simplicity, Agility, Policies, Regulations

1.3. Kralijc Matrix

List 10 items from your supply and and classify them according to the Kralijc Matrix.

1.4. Marketing & Sales

Describe the marketing and sales approach of your company. If possible, include any
figures that may help understand the scale.
Do they measure in any way the customer satisfaction?

1.5. Service
Describe the corporate image of your company, key elements such as colors, logos,
slogans, etc. if present are necessary to be included.
What are service channels that your company uses?

1.6. Bibliography
Include your used bibliographical references.
