Qualifications:

High School Diploma with coursework in Power Engineering, along with a minimum of 3 years of
related experience. Electrical or Mechanical discipline preferred.
Ability to interpret drawings, read blueprints, diagrams and specifications of mechanical equipment,
including manufacturer’s manuals and parts books.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Must have good oral and written communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with
others.
Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license. 
Must undergo a successful Criminal Background Check.
Team player who has proven ability to work independently
Demonstrated track record of effective leadership and collaboration with various constituents at all
levels and ranges of expertise
Proficient in the development of operational specifications, standards, work practices and procedures

Occasional exposure to dangerous or unpleasant environmental conditions such as accessing and

working in confined spaces, accessing and working at heights, exposure to noise, chemicals, odours,
extremetemperatures and adverse weather conditions

Self motivated and requires minimum supervision

Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
Efficient time management ability with minimal supervision
Ability to perform technical and economic analysis of potential solutions

Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to complete tasks.
The successful candidate will be articulate and have solid decision-making and organization skills.
Strong preference will be given to local candidates.

Good knowledge in 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic and transmission line theory
Familiar with lab equipment including but not limited to VNA, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer
