others, easy to talk with, good listeners, someone to turn to if you need a friend, and someone who  
does not bully others. 
● Only student selected by the teacher to provide leadership and guidance as a  2019 
‘Broadcast 3/Lead Producer’ for 3 high school classes of over 60 video production  
underclassmen and upperclassmen students    
● As the Broadcast Social Media Manager, spearheaded overall social media strategy on Instagram 
2019 that has resulted in a 37% lift in followers while increasing engagement by all groups on campus     
 
COMMUNITY SERVICE 
● Volunteer for the Las Vegas Metro Police Department/Univision TV Holiday Toy Donation for 
underprivileged families during the holidays.​ (​2015)  
● Miracle League Volunteer. Served as a ‘Buddy’ softball player for children and adults with special needs, 
autism, and other cognitive challenges for the Miracle League Las Vegas.​ ​(2015 & 2019) 
● ‘Colon Cancer Coalition’ Run. Participated in a 3-mile run with my softball team to raise awareness and funds 
for Colon Cancer research. (2018)

​ ougars 4 Change Member. As a member/officer of this organization at my high school, amongst many 
service projects, our biggest and most recent ones involved helping a local elementary school and a fellow 
student who was homeless. As members, we would donate books, money, and respond to holiday wish lists 
from underprivileged children as ‘North Pole Elves’. In addition, the work done by our group helped to 
provide my fellow student who was homeless an apartment that was fully paid in rent for a year, a grocery 
card, a gas card, new clothes for the family, and a week in a local hotel for the family to spend Christmas in.

● ‘Soap For Hope’. Volunteered and helped p
​ roduce thousands of hygiene kits to help the homeless in the local 
community. ​(2019) 
● Faith Lutheran Mark 10:14 Program. Volunteered as a softball player to pitch, field, and teach children and 
adults with special needs about the game of softball in a spirited game of wiffle ball. (2019)

● Las Vegas Great Santa Run. Each year the Las Vegas Great Santa Run attracts thousands of runners and 
walkers from all over including families, businesses, individuals and global tourists to downtown Las Vegas. 
Put on by Opportunity Village, all proceeds generated by this event go back to benefit the programs and 
services for OV's clients. ​Opportunity Village serves adults in Southern Nevada with intellectual and related 
disabilities, to enhance their lives and the lives of the families who love them. (2019) 
 
CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS  
● African American Student Union (AASU) Club Member.​ Forms ​strong personal and professional 
relationships with the black community and people of all backgrounds, to make a positive impact on the 
community and high school campus.  
● Black Student Union (BSU) Club Member.​ Involves the community in efforts to attain respect for cultural 
diversity and peaceful coexistence, between students of African descent (and other minorities), as well as make 
a positive impact on the community and high school campus.  
● Hip-Hop/Dance Evolution Club Member.​ Focuses on t​ he art of hip-hop dancing while actively seeking and 
maintaining a base of diverse and multicultural members. All styles of dance are explored and the club itself is a 
safe space to grow and learn. 
● Lamping Elementary School ​Junior Safety Patrol Officer (JSPO).​ The Lamping Safety Committee and JSPO 
are on site every morning assisting the flow of traffic and are volunteers who help the school every day.  
● Lamping Elementary School T.V. Broadcast Team Member.​ I​ n fifth grade, I was one of fifteen 5th graders to 
be chosen to be a part of my elementary school’s broadcast team. We had a hands-on experience to anchoring, 
high-end cameras, teleprompters, and additional electronic equipment. All the tools the team mastered 
allowed for a successful broadcast to be produced and aired every Friday for the entire student body.  
 
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES   
● Dedicate a minimum of 4 days per week as a member of the Impact Gold 18U Competitive Softball Team.  
● Recently launched my own video production company which includes video production projects for a local 
college marketing campaign and youth sports. 
● Starting linebacker for JV High School Flag Football Team, junior year, contributing to a 15-3 season.  
● 2X elementary school play actress who played a significant minor character in 4th grade and then the lead role 
of the entire production in 5th grade. 
● Assist working parents with babysitting two younger siblings. 
● Enjoy watching movies (especially anything ‘Disney’ and ‘Marvel’), going to the gym, playing with my dogs 
and spending time with my family.
