The Internet and the World Wide Web have led to an “information explosion” in our society. Millions of
bits of information are created and distributed daily over millions of kilometres of fibre optical cable, wire,
and airwaves. With so much information “out there,” a number of ethical issues arise. Search the Internet
or use your own judgement and answer the following questions which deal with concerns people have
regarding their PRIVACY and how their personal information is being used.
