II. RATIONALE

The Department of Education supports and values the professional development of our
educators for greater impact in teaching and learning. Part of this commitment is to ensure that
high schools teachers are capacitated with the knowledge and skills in the current trends of
information technology through conduct of a seminar using the Microsoft Office 365 Productivity
Tools and its application for the 21st Century learning.

III. OBJECTIVES

General Objective: The training aims to provide assistance among High School
Teachers in using the Microsoft Office 365 Productivity Tools and
its application for 21st Century Learning

Specific Objectives: 1. Capacitate High School Teachers on the components of


Microsoft Office 365;
2. Demonstrate skills in familiarizing functions of Microsoft Office
365 tools;
3. Develop e-classrooms;
4. Prepare online lectures, quizzes and exams
5. Demonstrate enthusiasm in the use of Microsoft Office
Productivity tools.

IV. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Microsoft Office 365 is a line of subscription services offered by Microsoft as part of


the Microsoft Office product line. The brand encompasses plans that allow use of the Microsoft
Office software suite over the life of the subscription, as well as cloud-based software as a
service products for business environments, such as hosted Exchange Server, Skype for Business
Server, Sharepoints, Microsoft Sway, Microsoft Teams, Onedrive and basic office applications
such as Powerpoint, Word, and Excel.

This is a two day seminar which consists of group of High School Teachers from Regional
Science High School who will engage in a collaborative session.

Further, the participants are expected to complete the trainings to be a certified Microsoft
Ambassador.
