 The Cholera has now left Numancia, A divine favor we owe to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus. When the scourge reappeared on
December 16, I went to the church at the time that the people were
leaving after the rosary, thinking over in my heart what road we
could take to please God’s wrath, and Your Reverence’s words
came to mind, “The most loving Heart of Jesus spared them in
Balingasag and Tamomntaka.”
 I announced to the people after Holy Eucharist the next morning
that we would begin a novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus which
we started on the 17th. How great the divine mercy! Not only did no
one die, but also in the población, no one was attacked since then.
We are now clean this time.
 We ended the novena with a Te Deum and on the feast of St.
Stephen, I consecrated the parish to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
