Description and Use

HYDREX 7908 is an oxidising biocide based on stabilised bromine, proven effective at controlling
non-pathogenic and pathogenic bacteria, moulds,biofilms and algae in industrial and commercial cooling water
systems, storage tanks, decorative fountains, and other water systems.

HYDREX 7908 has excellent prodcut stability. The stabilization technology in the product minimizez prodcut
degradation,resulting in extending product life and long-lasting biocidal activity both in storage and and in use.

Application Information
HYDREX 7908 can be used to replace liquid, solid or gaseous chlorine treatments.
This product is particularly efficient against biofilms.

Dosing of HYDREX 7908 depends on required residual of total oxidiser and on the settling time. VWS
Engineers will determine the most effective dosage rate according to the working conditions on site.

HYDREX 7908 is injected pure or diluted, into a part of the system where good mixing and diffusion of the
product can be assured. HYDREX 7908 can be injected by a dosing pump.

Packaging
Hydrex 7908 is supplied in one way 25kg pails, 220 kg plastic drums and 1200 kg containers. Other packaging
is available on request.

Safety Information
Hydrex 7908 must be stored at positive temperatures, in a cool and aerated place.

Do not mix with acids.

Hydrex 7908 is classified as corrosive product: the use of safety gloves and goggles is compulsory when
handling this product. In case of contact with eyes or of ingestion, consult a doctor immediately. See Material
