Reflection on Discourse Project

Beginning the semester with the discourse project about my future field of study was a
really good way to get introduced to the concept of discourses in an academic community.
Interviewing professors that are doing, or had done, what I want to do was a good stepping stone
into understanding what I was looking at as a future historian. I was able to start to comprehend
what I was getting into and how it would help me as I progressed along this path. I look forward
to actually diving into this discourse when I graduate and fully immerse myself in being a
historian.
