​Greetings Everett families,

We are excited to share that Staff Appreciation Week is coming up next week! We have
planned several fun virtual activities to help celebrate our Everett staff. Below is a
detailed schedule with activities to show support for our teachers and staff. We hope
you will join us for a virtual celebration this year.

T​E​A​C​H​E​R ​& S​ ​T​A​FF​ ​APPRECIATION WEEK ​MAY 4 - MAY 8

There are two major staff appreciation initiates going on during the week which are
outlined below. We hope you will participate in these as a way to show your gratitude
for our sweet staff.

#1: ​Please take pictures of your kids holding up “Thank You” signs and upload
them using the Google Drive ​LINK HERE​ or email them to​ jaceyapt@gmail.com​ by
Wednesday at noon. Please take pictures in a horizontal position (across). The photos
will be used to create a school wide video to thank our Everett staff.

#2: ​Throughout the week please take a moment to upload videos of gratitude to
Everett Staff on ​Flipgrid​. Use the Flipgrid App on your child’s iPad (enter code:
everettlovesteachers​). ​Students can submit a video to their teacher, their specials
teachers plus any other specialist or staff they would like to!​ On Friday, the staff will be
delighted with these special videos filled with gratitude.

Munchkin Monday - DONUT Forget to Send Messages (May 4)

There is no e-Learning today, so let’s kick off the week by sending messages of gratitude
to staff members. Emails, Seesaw posts, videos, homemade signs, driveway art...
whatever you’d like! We’re attaching a list of Everett staff (​HERE​), including specials
teachers, resource teachers, and other support staff. (Feel free to continue these
messages throughout the week).

Tasty Treat Tuesday (May 5)

The APT will email each staff member a Starbucks gift card with a sweet note. We want
to thank them ​“​a Latte​” ​for all their hard work!

jaceyapt@gmail.com​. And don’t forget to post special video messages on Flipgrid!​

Wild Cherry Wednesday (May 6)

We are wild for our teachers! Please color the attached ice cream sundae PDF (also
HERE​) and write a sweet message for Everett Staff. When you are finished, post to
Seesaw!
*Wednesday at noon is the deadline to upload pictures to the Google Drive​ ​HERE​ or email them to
jaceyapt@gmail.com​. We want to see everyone in the school wide video tomorrow!

Thanks for Making Us Smart Cookies Thursday (May 7)

The APT will email the school-wide video of thanks to the Everett staff using the “Thank
You” sign photos that were sent in earlier in the week.

Frosted Friday (May 8)

The icing on the cake will be your ​Flipgrid​ videos. We will wrap up the week by revealing
the Flipgrids to the Everett staff. APT will also be providing special “Quarantine Kits” to
the staff to be received at the end of May.

During the week our staff will also be entered into daily drawings for various $25 gift
cards
