This proposal would establish two set teams each with their own dedicated team leader
who would work an identical shift as their team. The two additional supervisors would become a
The role of each team leader would be to directly supervise and manage the CA’s for the
entirety of the shift. The team leaders would be a primarily internal facing supervisory role. The
role of the flex team leader would be to support and supply coverage for both team leaders and
CA’s as needed as well as to assist with patient services activities. The role of the patient
services leader would be to perform all patient-facing services such as rounding and service
recoverys. The responsibility of cash drawers will be with the Patient Services Leader and Flex
This proposal would also establish Kitchen Leaders from the current HP1 and HP3 shift
positions. Kitchen leaders would assume the responsibility of opening and closing the
department as well as distributing the breakfast cash drawer and counting the dinner cash
procedures.
