Appeal to Extend Scholarship Application Deadline

Sir, In regards to the above matter, I would like to appeal to extend the Scholarship
Deadline. I have just graduated high school (X) in the year 2019. I received my X
results last Thursday, on the 5th of March, and fortunately, passed the exam with
favourable results. Thus, I am currently applying to Pre-University programmes to
further my studies.

2. X school has always been a prefered prospect as it has a reputable  academic

success with its Sixth Formers and I believe I will be able to flourish in its conducive
environment. My younger  brother schooling  in X as well is one of the factors as well,
as I have been able to witness the growth he has gone through due to the
commendable educational experience provided by your school. 

3. However, upon researching your school’s website for further information, I realised
that the Scholarship Application deadline was on the 1st of March, 4 days before my
results came out. 

4. Now, I do realise that I was able to use my forecast results as well as actual SPM
results to apply for the scholarship. However, I was advised to use my actual results
as most major scholarships prefer actual results due to the fair and standardised
marking process across-the-board. And I am sure many of the other SPM students
applying would have the same thinking as well.

5. Furthermore, I was also otherwise occupied due to my being in France for a

month-long exchange student programme, thus was unable to keep up with the
scholarship updates. 

6. Thus due to above reasons, I would like to appeal to you, Sir to extend the
scholarship deadline. I look forward to a favourable reply from you.
