Questions to determine the proper model:
What are you serving – alcohol or non alcohol?
If alcohol is used, what is the percentage of alcohol to the total mix –
Maximum 25% alcohol.
What is the largest serving size?
What is the anticipated demand per hour?
How many flavors?
What is the space available?
What is the voltage available
Is water system available for water cooled units?
Perfect for models for Happy Hour: 215F, 232, & 235

DEPENDABILITY:
Our equipment is engineered and built to be very user friendly - easy to clean and
maintain. It's durable, dependable, and built for years of reliable performance.
QUALITY CONTROL:
All our machines are run for a minimum of 4 hours before they are shipped.
PRODUCT CONSISTENCY:
An Exclusive and Patented Torque Consistency Control developed by Frosty Factory
of America will allow for consistent texture and thickness adjustments of your frozen
beverages. The adjustment screw (accessible through the side panel) is pre-set at the
factory. Various mix consistencies can be achieved by turning the screw clockwise
(thicker drink) or counter clockwise (thinner drink). Turn the screw one full turn then
allow enough time to lapse (about 3 minutes) for the compressor to complete a cycle
before sampling. Continue this process until the desired result is achieved.
SUGAR CONTENT:
Frosty machines will produce a fine grain, semi frozen slush when the proper mix is
used. When measured with a brix refractometer, the proper mix will measure 13 to 18
“brix” (33-42 grams of sugar per 8-oz of serving).Too little sugar in the mix will cause
the mix to freeze solid. Too much sugar in the mix and the product will not slush.
FRUIT JUICES:
With at least 33-42 grams of sugar per 8-oz serving will freeze well. They will remain
stable during the freezing process while retaining their natural color and flavor.
NEUTRAL BASES
A Neutral Base consists of a simple syrup with no flavor. Some convenience stores
use a neutral base in the machine and then add the flavor to the product after it has
been served in a container. Regardless whether the product in the machine is a
neutral base or with flavor, make sure before use that the “brix” level is 13-18 (or 33-
42 grams per 8-oz mix). Example: 5 lbs of sugar and 4 gallons of water will provide the
proper brix.
ALCOHOL CONTENT:
The amount of alcohol in the recipe will affect the freezing process. As a rule, for the
mix to freeze properly (since alcohol never freezes alone), the recipe should contain no
more than 25% alcohol (Tequila, Vodka, Rum are the alcohol mostly used).

SUGGESTIONS:
(1) Use the finest ingredients available
(2) Test the product before serving it, and
(3) Keep the machine Clean – ALWAYS!
In order to place the units side by side, Remote and Water Cooled refrigeratrion are
required. The remote condenser should be installed away from the serving area –
either outside or in an equipment room with ample ventilation.
For water-cooled equipment and depending on model, water consumption will be one
to two gallons a minute while the compressor is running. There are several companies
that manufacture water cooling systems / water chiller systems (closed system). We
will be glad to quote the water-cooled system, if necessary.
AIR COOLED
Air-cooled equipment must have proper clearance between machines and behind the
machines to allow for Airflow. Please consult the brochure for the exact distances for
each model. The distances could vary between 6” and 36” between each machine and
2” to 6” for rear clearance.
Air cooled machines must never be stacked side-by-side.
WATER COOLED
In water-cooled machines, the water is circulated. There are 2 systems: Open system
and closed system. In a closed system, the water is recirculated. In an open system,
the water is circulated through a cooling system. A lot of water is used in an open
system. The water is recycled in a closed system. The water-cooled system called the
“Water Tower” is sold by several companies including Air Dyne. The water cooled units
are recommended in cases where there is not adequate ventilation or several
machines need to be set up next to each other. Water-cooled units have the advantage
of eliminating heat from the service area hence lowering the cost of Air conditioning.
REMOTE REFRIGERATION
Remote refrigeration installs similar to central air-conditioning. The condenser which
makes heat and noise is outside. Depending on the model, you can run up to four
flavors on one 3HP condenser. Remote units can be placed side by side as they do
not require air space. Remote systems require a licensed HVAC contractor for
installation. These units are the most efficient to operate.
