TAP Meaning Adjusting

ROD Roll Offset Distance This is used for fine tuning roll call.
1. With a value of Zero, set an AB line and drive with the
system engaged until the cross track error is zero.
2. Stop and mark the location of the hitch pin.
3. Turn around and then drive engaged down the exact
same line and stop with the hitch pin over the exact
same location.
4. Measure the offset of the vehicle and note if you are left
or right of the original line as the vehicle faces.
5. Divide the measured value by two and convert to
meters. Enter it as a negative (-) value for right of the
line and a positive (+) value for right of the line.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 until there is no offset on the return
pass.
