Sub: Offer for Repairing of Kiln Tyre Repair

Dear Sir,

We thank you very much for the kind courtesy extended to us during our visit .
We reference to our discussion, inspection on the above subject, we submit of
offer for execution of job on Turn key basis with below mentioned terms &
conditions.

Price on per kg consumption of electrodes: Rs. 12,565/-

(Rupees Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Sixty Five only per kg of electrode
consumed) We will apply our proven product Xuper Nucleotec 2222 for repairing
of entire crack.

Our Scope of Work:

1. Deputation team of Engineers, Technicians, Expert Welders & other
operators and helpers.
2. Apply adequate amount of Carbon Gouging Electrode & Nucleotec 2222
for complete repairing of job.
3. Design of Special clamps & fixtures before opening of cracks of Kiln Tyre.
4. Preparation of surface – Gouging of the crack & grinding to remove and
finish the surface for welding.
5. Preheating arrangement & bringing temp. up to the required level.
6. Maintaining the surface temperature up to required level with the help of
online monitor.
7. Root welding with 3.15mm size N2222 & welding with 4.0mm electrode
maintaining inter pass temperature.
 8. Special welding technique will be adopted as recommended by our R&D.
9. Grinding finish will be done by hand grinder & manual fitting operation to
match the parent material surface.
10. All activities relating to the above job will be supervised by our team of
expert Engineers & Tero-technicians, who have executed approx 12 nos.
of Kiln Tyre repairs.

Your Scope of Work:

1. You will provide 03 nos. of welding rectifier of 600amp rating along with 03
nos. holders & other accessories round the clock.
2. Compressed air connection for arc gouging.
3. Three phase electricity supply round the clock.
4. Oxy-DA gas cutting set.
5. Boarding & lodging facilities for 15 Crew members & 3 Engineers
supervisors.
6. Required electrical connection, Scaffolding, temporary shade for
protection of welding area, lighting & ventilation arrangement.
7. One supervisor or Engineer round the clock to provide all facilities.
8. Required nos. of Road permit to be provided for bringing material from
other state in advance.
9. Work shop facility for making arrangement for tie rod and clamp
arrangement for the tyre before gouging.

Terms & Conditions:

1. Service Tax : Extra @10.24% on above price
2. The above price includes cost of consumables, Manpower, Supervision,
Technical Services, Mobilizations etc.
3. Payment terms: Advance 50% of min 50 Kg consumption basis & balance
50% immediately after completion of job. Payment to be made in favour of
Larsen & Toubro Limited, payable at Nagpur. DD Charges on your
account.
4. Time: Min. time required is 21 days from the date of start of job.
5. Mobilization: We will mobilize the manpower & material within 72 hours
after receipt of confirmed order from your side.
