Sub:- Offer for new supply of Centrifuge Component

Dear Sir,
This has reference to the discussion undersigned had with your good self for Manufacturing and supply of
Complete Rotating Assembly. Please find enclosed our offer given hereunder:-

Technical Offer:
Scope of Work: -

1. The Discharge End Trunnion Shaft will be made from a rough forged stock The stock
dimension will be of 565 dia and of length 1100 mm. The same will be duly checked by USG for
faults as per ASTM LEVEL III. The shaft will be proof machined with 2 mm on tool point except for
the end flanges which will be machined finished to the finish tolerance. The shaft will be hardened
and tempered to provide the necessary toughness. After necessary hardening the same will be
machined finished & ground finished. The Flange end drills will be carried out on a jig boring
machine. The Spline will be cut on a slotting machine with a special head for maintaining the
degree.

2. The Feed End Trunnion Shaft will be made from CAST STEEL as per grade IS :1030 GR 25-
52 (UTS 50 Kg/mm ) USG LEVEL III. The same will be proof machined except for the flange
area. The flange will be duly machined to close tolerance so that the same fits closely with the
Flange end of the scroll body. The drilling on the flange will be carried out on a Jig boring
machine so that the flange is interchangeable.

3. Bowl Head (Solid End)

The discharge end bowl will be made from cast steel as per Grade IS:1030 Gr 25-52 to USG level-III. The
cast Flange will then be machined finished in close tolerance for bearing fitting. The PB bush will be fitted
shrunk fitted and machined finished in a single setting. The Discharge end Head will be Ceramic Tiled. The
individual End Disc will be balanced dynamically.
4. Bowl Head (Liquid End)

The Feed end bowl will be made from cast steel as per Grade IS:1030 Gr 25-52 to USG level-III. The cast Flange will
then be machined finished in close tolerance for bearing fitting. The PB bush will be fitted shrunk fitted and machined
finished in a single setting. The Feed end will be fitted with 4 nos cast View (ports). The ports are made of AISI 304
steel with duly lined with tungsten carbide. The individual End Disc will be balanced dynamically.

SALES TAX:
Nil. Sale under Clause 6(2) of CST Act 1956 against Form C from Tata Steel
Payment:
100% payment to be released within seven days from the receipt of material at your store.
Warranty:-
Our component/equipment will be carrying a standard warranty of 6 months
period from the date of supply for repair/rectification of component that may
have been supplied as originally defective. This warranty is limited to
rectification, repair or replacement of component and not towards any
consequential damages

Arbitration:
Our liability is restricted to our workmanship and material only. We shall not
be responsible / liable for any other type of damage /loss such as
consequential, proximate or liquidation damages arising out of non-
performance. Also primary and secondary damage due to design will not be our
responsibility.
Force Majure:
For the purpose of delivery clause, force majeure condition shall mean and include any
circumstances and occurrences beyond the reasonable control of the company and/or its
sub-suppliers which hinder the execution of its duties, as for e.g. mobilization, war and
war-like conditions (irrespective of whether war has been declared or not), revolts,
rebellions, sabotage, strike (declared or undeclared), lockouts, other labour disputes,
natural disasters, fire, flood or unforeseeable circumstances, or epidemics, hindrances and
delay in transportation, all acts of God, State (Central or Provincials, breakdown of
essential machinery and equipment, delay in availability of essential raw materials, non-
availability of wagon/shipping specs. etc. Hence we shall not be responsible for the any
delay in job due to reasons above stated, which are beyond our control.
Validity:
Our offer is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of submission.
