Dear Sir,

We are pleased to introduce ourselves as the pioneer in the field of Thermal Spraying, having
expertise in anti-corrosive Aluminizing of Erected Chimneys and structures, as per BS Standard.

We have successfully executed Aluminizing at

In the developed countries, Atmospheric & Marine corrosion (applications like Chimneys,
exhaust stacks, mufflers, castor chambers, structures etc.) is taken care by Aluminizing &
Galvanizing by Thermal Spray processes. The spraying of molten Aluminium is recommended for
protection of steel surface exposed to high temperature up to 900°C in the presence of corrosive
gases like SO2, SO3 & H2S.

Conventional painting using high temperature aluminum paints (15-20 microns per coat) invariably
fails within a few months of application.
Alumunizing on the other hand provides thicker coatings (150-175 microns) which protects
iron and steel against corrosion and oxidation in hostile atmospheres including temperatue upto
900°C. The basic Aluminium coating remains intact for a number of years. Sealant applied after
Aluminizing ensures good appearance for long periods.

Subject: Commercial Offer

The cost of sand blasting to Swedish standard

Sa 2-1/2 ASTM 220 and Aluminium spraying Rs 3420/- per sq. m
to a thickness of 150-175 microns followed by ( Rupees Three Thousand
two coats of sealant. Four Hundred & Twenty per
meter sq.)
L&T’s Scope of work:

 Scaffolding arrangements.
 Surface preparation by Sand blasting.
 Thermal spraying Aluminium(99.5%) to a thickness of 150-175 microns by our unique
Thermal spraying process.
 Two coats of special sealant.

Facilities to be provided by Tata Motors:

 Dry compressed air at 7kgs/sq cm at 200 CFM.

 Power required: 20KVA, 440V 3Phase, near the work place.
 Storage facility for the equipment and consumables used.
 Lighting arrangements, if the job is carried out at night.

Terms and conditions:

1. The job will be carried out at your site on turnkey basis.

2. Transportation cost To & Fro to your works in our account.
3. Advance information of 4-6 weeks required along with a confirmed date for starting the
work. Idling charges of Rs 6000/day will be charged extra, in case of delay of start due to
unavailability of site or material within your scope.
4. Our offer is valid for a period of 30days from the date of offer.
5. Service tax will be charged extra as applicable.
6. 100% payment within 15 days after completion of job and bill submission.
7. Order to be released on Larsen & Toubro Limited, 2nd floor, Aakashdeep Plaza,
