STUDENT TEACHING
MEMORIAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, 1ST GRADE
During my time at Memorial, I planned and implemented reading, writing, and phonics lessons
through the Units of Study program as well as taught math, science, and social studies. I
attended all weekly PLC and data team meetings and participated in a bi-monthly math meeting
to discuss the implementation of the My Math program. I was in two different classes
throughout the day (approximately 40 students), so I was able to gain experience from two
different teaching and management styles.
