I am writing to you because I am interested in the open Teaching position that you are accepting
applications for through LinkedIn. I just received my Bachelors in Education and I speciales in world
history and US history. I believe I will be an asset to your school after the many years of training and
knowledge I have received through my classes. I can offer an inclusive, safe and challenging classroom
that all will benefit from.
For the past eight years I have been taking classes on History and how to become a critically thinking
instructor to my students. My knowledge in history can be shown by my twenty seven credit hours I have
taken at multiple universities.
My classroom will be an inclusive space because after learning about how to teach students with
disabilities I believe a lot could be gained for merging general education classes with those with a
disability. I also am certified in CPR for ages 0-18 that I received from YMCA in the summer of two
thousand and nineteen. In addition I have learned and practiced vigorously on how to be a critical thinker
and by teaching my students to be one as well.
I look forward to meeting with you and interviewing for the teaching position. I am positive that my
knowledge of history, education, inclusive environments, safe environments and teaching critically will
be a benefit to your students. If you have any questions please call me at 704-236-0647 or you can email
me at hvallier@asu.edu. I have also attached my resume to this letter. Thank you for taking time to read
this letter.
Sincerely,
Hannah Valliere
