Description:   Each year, GLI brings a delegation of students and adults to the 
CSW. As GLI delegates, students actively participate in six full days 
of workshops, panels and presentations in and around the United 
Nations. Public Service Community School’s WE Stand Women’s 
Empowerment Club applied to send 2 student delegates along with 
1 adult chaperone.  

Purpose:  Students speak about girls’ human rights and draft position 
statements for the CSW, outlining their stances and suggestions on 
universal girls’ education, violence prevention, human rights, and 
related issues.
