In Discrete Mathematics.....Kennith Rosen Book....Releavent Chapters should be 1,2,5 ­ 11 .....as in chapter 5 Combinatorics is there.

A single standard book is enough 90% of time. Some topic if missing can be understood via weblinks (given on the subject webpage). I know some
coaching person is propagating news that we force students to buy "ALL" standard books which is impossible to learn. I guess that guy will soon say
that we force people to buy book from flipkart as well as amazon since the edition date is different. I hope Engineering graduates have common sense
and can do what is required.

even if I follow a single book for each subject just the way it is prescribed I will have to cover atleast 100 pages a day to complete the course within 6months
which is simply not possible .

Then for what purpose is GATE syllabus given? First thing to do is to filter the chapters based on that.
