SCANNER TRAINING
Be sure to check scanner before training begins
• Get to know your scanner inside and out. You need to be confident when training the customer.
• Review the instructions before training begins.
• Be sure to type “test” in the P.O. if the customer is not going to place an order.
Which, by the way, should rarely happen.
• Make sure the customer signs the “NO CHANGE” lease agreement.
• The customer training should be hands on.
• Walk the customer through the instruction sheet step-by-step.
• Order # 1-8 is for a shop with multiple locations. This feature allows the
customer to place up to eight separate orders and send them in at the same time.
These orders will be boxed and invoiced separately so the customer knows
what he or she ordered for each location.
• A part number can be deleted by pressing the LEFT ARROW key until
you get to the number to be deleted. At that point, press the CLEAR button.
Press the RIGHT ARROW key to get to the end of the file and continue scanning.
