Tema: Prepositions of place

Objetivo: Identificar vocabulario en la lengua inglesa, para referirse a la posición o lugar que ocupa un objeto
o una persona.

Taller:

1. Vamos a identificar las “Prepositions of place” (preposiciones de lugar o espacio)

Así como en español, en inglés existen palabras que permiten identificar el espacio que ocupa un objeto o
persona. De igual forma nos permiten saber donde se encuentran los objetos o personas en un espacio
determinado. (Mirar video de la bibliografía 1 y 2)
2. Complete the next sentences according to the picture, and use the correct prepositions of place, that are
in the box. (El word se puede editar)

b. Where is the fish? The fish is in the fishbowl
c. Where is the table? Next to the armchair
d. Where is the cat? The cat is above the couch
e. Where is he dog? The dog is Next to the armchair
f. Where is the pillow? The pillow Over the couch
g. Where is the magazine? The magazine is on the table
h. Where is the armchair? The armchair is next to the table

3. Scribe sentences using the correct prepositions of place, according to the picture. (El word se puede
editar)

e. The dog is on the bed
f. The dog is in front of the painting
g. The cat is behind del closet
h. The tv is between the cat and the dog

k. The dog is in front of the study table

4. Scribe the correct preposition of place according to the picture. The idea is locating the places in the
map using the prepositions of place. Remember use the vocabulary on the box
 For example: The bank is in middle of bus staiont and restaurant

- The airport is near bus station and on front of bank

- The bus stop is in middle of university and department store
- The carrosel is in the middle of the City
- The amusement park is in middle of bus station and petrol station
- The hairdresser´s is around the carrousel
- The supermarket is in front of amusement park
- The police station is in middle sport centre and hot dog stand and hotel
- The brguer bar is in middle of park and lemonade stand
- The flower shop is next to the hairdresser´s
