    HDFC Bank MD has been inducted into the Chartered Accountant (CA) Hall of Fame at the
    13th ICAI Awards. Organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the
    awards were instituted in 2007 to recognize members who have demonstrated excellence
    as a CA professional. In its 13th year, ICAI introduced a new category of award - "CA Hall of
    Fame"- the highest recognition in its suite of awards, and HDFC Bank MD is the first
    member to be honoured.

    At a glittering ceremony organised in Mumbai, Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal presented
    the "CA Hall of Fame" award to Mr. Aditya Puri in presence of senior ICAI officials. The
    winners were chosen by a jury chaired by Mr. Kishore Biyani, Founder, Future Group and
    comprising other senior CA professionals.
