Task 2: With this interactive exercise you will expand your vocabulary in the field of

adjectives; after matching the adjectives with corresponding descriptions, choose 5 which
are consistently like or totally unlike you. You will need this vocabulary while presenting
yourself in the forum "What about me?" You will choose 5 of these characteristics,
giving a clear demonstration of them in a sentence.

Beside the fact that for the last 20 years I’ve been wife to one great green-eye
handsome ex boyfriend and, somebody very important to two “something the best in my
life-boys” that use to call me mother, I also consider me as successful business woman.

If I tell you that basically I am such a great individualistic that sometimes is very
difficult for me to work with others, you’ll understand why I have a one-man office which
is my little personalized kingdom for the most creative work.
There I can express that I’m organized person completely dedicated to maintain the
work, order and discipline.
The fact that I enjoy my job very much is obvious to all my associates and colleagues,
but only a few of them know the dimension of an effort that I put into to work the things
that I like.
With the proper mixture of ambitious, tactful and diplomacy expressed on the right
place at right time, the success is assured.
But the two crucial characteristics of mine that I am very proud of tell that I’m like a fish
in the water when you request from me to complete difficult tasks all the way through
displaying achievement-orientation that in my case lines up with perfectionism.

Unfortunately, I have to admit that I need to be a little more flexible and sometimes
even impulsive because I believe that it could improve my communication with the
people around me.

Also, I have to try to be less analytical because in that case I’ll be able to write this text
quickly without unnecessary each word-measurement.

This “tour the person” was very interesting.

I must admit it was very difficult for me to choose only 5 characteristics which are describing
my personality. Sometimes, I think I’m ambitious, and on the other hand, sometimes I think
I’m not interested enough for a certain goal. But, when I realize that the goal is right I can
show a great deal of effort.
I can be also imaginative and open-minded. I’m willing to consider new ideas and new
experiences. But, unfortunately, I’m not always persuasive and I haven’t talent to convince
others that my ideas can be practical and profitable.
But, I know with certainty, I’m patient, organized and cooperative. I like to work together
with others; I also have patience for other people wishes and feelings… I like to listen and
learn from others. I dislike confusion.
You know, I’m not quite sure if those characteristics are inherited from our parents or you can
work on them and try to improve your personal abilities. For example, I would like to be more
competitive - to enjoy engaging in activities in which rivalry is important. Maybe more
dominant – to enjoy the leadership role. And above all, I hate to be dependent – and that is
happening when I don’t believe in my own abilities.
I suppose that some characteristics, that you didn’t know you possess, could leave your
analytical and introverted mind, and in different situations you can be a different parson.
