General PR Committee Responsibilities

 Work as a cohesive unit to assist and support PR Chair and other
committee members
o Helping the other committee members do their job
 Attend committee meetings
 Fulfill your specific job responsibilities

Positions:

External Relations
 Ensures both the Greek and Maryland communities perceive SDT
positively
 Responsible for creating gifts for Greek houses throughout the semester
(welcome back, Valentine’s day, initiation, etc.)
 Responsible for helping plan PR events on campus (ex: giving out donuts,
candy, etc.)
 Responsible for coming up with ideas to promote SDT to the outside
community
 Will help with tabling and creating ideas to make tabling more exciting
 Responsible for inviting members outside of Greek life to our events
 There will be two people chosen for this position

Creative
 Create digital marketing and PR campaigns
 Help with cover photo designs/ Instagram stories
 Preferably skilled in Photoshop/InDesign
 There will be one person chosen for this position

Apparel
 Responsible for creating new apparel for the chapter
 Responsible for communicating with the manufacturer and the chapter
(creating Google Spreadsheets, etc.)
 Responsible for handing out apparel once it ships
 Has to check with PHA VP PR to make sure apparel is approved
 There will be one person chosen for this position

Historian
 Take pictures and videos at major events and assist in putting together
marketing tools
 Help update the Photo Circle
 Helps coordinate photoshoots for members
  There will be one personal chosen for this position

Social Media Assistant

 Assists PR Chair in generating creative ideas for social media (such as
new Instagram Story ideas)
o ***This does not entail controlling/maintaining one specific
social media site, the PR Chair will still maintain access to all
accounts***
 Ensures all sisters show themselves in a positive light at all times
 Keeps VSCO updated
 Helps PR chair to monitor sisters’ online activity
 There will be one person elected to this position
