Step by Step
1. What name will you illustrate? *Minimum 3 Letters*
• Your Name – First, middle or last.
• Family Member – You could make a Mother's Day artwork. Mother's Day is this Sunday.
• Someone you look up to – Create artwork for someone else!
2. Brainstorm an image that relates to each letter.
• Some letters may require more than one drawing.
3. Sketch each letter of your chosen name.
• Begin with large stick letters or bubble letters.
• Think about Spacing.
4. Draw at least one image to represent each letter. In other words, the drawing should stand alone and
represent the letter. *See examples*

2. I listed images that relate to
Remmi and can look like the shape
of each of the letters.
• I used a combination of upper and
lowercase letters.
• The moon represents the curve of the R
and the stars show the stick portion.
• The music notes follow the shape of a
lowercase m

3. I began sketching ideas before


beginning my final artwork.
