 POSITION PAPER II

RESPONSIBILITY (CSR): THROUGH THE GOVT. – INDUSTRY INTERFACE.

By: Prof. Rameswar Datta.

CSR Budget for many MSME & other Companies are channelized through NGOs to
reach the community people for their immediate development. The honest truth
is that most people look at them skeptically. It is a wonder – how NGOs work,
what they do with the money they get and more importantly whether they really
create any impact which can be seen and audited meaningfully in the term of CSR.
This is a huge task of the day.

CSR Management through the Government-Industry Interface by competent

management under the umbrella of CMA can bolster the required transparency
through effective monitoring of funds provided by the industry. Evaluation of the

mile stone data from remote locations.
