Burglary (calling the police)

One day, John was studying alone in his bedroom at night. He began to feel
tired so he decided to go to bed. When he was closing the windows, he saw two
suspicious men climbing over his neighbour’s gate.
He was shocked and immediately told his father about the incident. His
father called the policemen and gave them his name and address. After that, they
continued to keep an eye on their neighbour’s house.
Soon, the policemen arrived and surround the house. They caught the
policemen and brought them to the police station. John’s parents were proud of him
for what he did.

Visiting the Museum (Trip)

Yesterday, the English Club organised a school trip to the National Museum. The
excited pupils gathered in the hall early in the morning. They started their journey at 6p.m.
sharp.
After one hour, they arrived at their destination. The teacher bought the tickets at the
ticket counter and brought the pupils into the museum. She showed the pupils all the valuable
artefacts and explained a lot of things to them.
After the tour, the pupils went to the souvenir shop and bought some interesting
souvenirs. They went back to school after buying the souvenirs. The pupils learnt a lot of
knowledge about Malaysia cultures and customs.

Picking mangoes
One day, John and Albert were on their way home from school. They saw a lot of
mangoes hanging in the tree by the roadside. The orange mangoes were ripe and juicy. John
decided to climb the tree and pick some mangoes.
Both the boys stopped by the tree. John climbed the tree carefully. However, he
accidentally slipped and fell onto the ground. Albert was taken aback and ran to help John
up.
Unfortunately, John was only terribly injured. He quickly went to the phone booth
and called an ambulance. Soon, the ambulance arrived. The paramedics sent John to the
hospital immediately. John and Albert had learnt a valuable lesson and promised never to be
naughty again.

Being late (apologising)

Lisa looked at the clock that was showing 7.a.m. Lisa is shocked and immediately
jumped up from her bed. She was almost late for school. She quickly went to bathe and
changed into her uniform.
She skipped her breakfast as there was no time left. After taking her bag, she rushed
out to the bus stop. She ran as quick as lightning. By the time, she reached there, the bus left.
She had no choice but to walk to school.
Lisa reached school at 7.45p.m. The headmistress standing at the gate scolded her
angrily. Lisa was sorry and apologised to the headmistress.

Visiting the Planetarium

John was very excited today because he was going to the Planetarium. When
everyone was here, the teachers and pupils boarded the bus. They started their journey at
7a.m.
Soon, they arrived at their destination. Encik Jamal, the person-in-charge was there
waiting for them. He greeted the children warmly. He took the pupils around the planetarium.
He taught them a lot of interesting knowledge to them.
The children were allowed to move around the planetarium after the tour. John and
his friends went to explore the colourful model planet. Soon, it was time to go back to school.
They children said goodbye to Encik Jamal and started their journey.

The School Carnival

John’s school had a carnival yesterday. John and his friends arrived at school around
6p.m. There was a crowd of people. John and his friend, Albert, bought some coupons at the
ticket counter and went into the school.
John and his friend ate some delicious sausages as dinner. John bought a packet of
popcorns while Albert bought an ice-cream as dessert. After enjoying their meal, they went
to watch an animal performance and take an exciting ride on the carousel.
Soon, it was getting late. John and Albert were tired so they decided to go home. Both
of them really had a wonderful time at the carnival.
